Pop Blue
Pop Blue is the smart, convenient way for 16 to 21-year-olds to pay for travel across the North East. Simply load a balance onto your Pop Blue card and pay for journeys as you go.
Junior Blue
Pop Junior is designed for young travellers aged 15 and under, offering an easy and affordable way to pay for public transport in the region.
Proof of age
When travelling with Pop Blue or Junior Blue, you may be asked to show proof of age. Accepted forms of ID include:
- Full or provisional UK/EU driving license
- ID card with PASS hologram
- NUS Extra card
- Passport or birth certificate (a copy is acceptable)
