Conditions of Carriage
The Conditions of Carriage explains your rights and obligations as a passenger when you travel on Metro.
When you buy a ticket for travel on Metro, you enter a contractual relationship with Nexus, the operator and owner of the system. There are some rules you need to follow as a customer, from not smoking on trains and stations, through to travelling with a valid ticket amongst several others.

Metro Byelaws
Byelaws are in place to ensure ease of travel and safety on Metro and they need to be observed by everyone.
They set out laws around conduct and behaviour, equipment and safety, travel and fares, trespass, premises controls and lost property. You can view the Metro Byelaws to learn more.
