- Underground station directly below Grey’s Monument at junction of Grey Street, Blackett Street and Grainger Street in the centre of Newcastle.
- Access to station is via entrances directly from Blackett Street, Grey Street, and step free access by an entrance in Eldon Square shopping precinct. The station can also be accessed from Fenwick department store.
- There are no parking facilities.
Access to ticketing concourse
- Stairs from Grey Street, Blackett Street and Eldon Square.
- Lift and stairs from Eldon Square entrance. Note there is a long ramp down from the stairs and lift to the Metro concourse. The incline may be problematic for some customers. If you require assistance with your journey you can book this 4 hours in advance by calling 0191 203 3666.
