Bus
There is an extensive local bus network operating to and from Chester-le-Street. Routes north / south from Newcastle to several destinations (e.g. Durham, Bishop Auckland), and east / west (e.g. Sunderland, Consett).
The nearest Chester-le-Street has to a Bus Station is the Market Place where the bus stops have real time information (10 – 15 minute walk to The Riverside).
