South Shields Bus Station

South Shields bus station is in South Shields Town Centre. The station is owned by Nexus who staff the station 7 days a week. The station is an interchange with Metro services. The station hosts several retail outlets.

There is covered passenger concourse while each stand has dedicated seating. Transport information is provided by both written and electronic format with real time information boards at each stand along with large departure information boards on the main concourse.

The station area is covered by CCTV which is operated and controlled by Nexus.

There is also a taxi rank located on Kepple Street.
