Access to station
- Station is situated on Station Road with separate entrances for each platform, linked by a footbridge with stairs.
- This is an interchange point allowing passenger’s access between the Coast line and Airport line.
- There is a pick up/set down area accessible from Station Road beside Platform 1 on Balmoral Terrace but no parking facilities.
Access to Ticketing areas
- Entrance to Platform 1 is directly off Balmoral Terrace with level access and dropped kerbs.
- Access to Platform 2 is via a short steep access road off Station Road and narrow footpath with handrail. There are also stairs down from Station Road bridge.
Access between platforms
- Step free access category B: This station has a degree of step-free access to the platforms, which may be in both directions or in one direction only – please check the Metro Access Guide for more details.
- Access is via a footbridge with stairs at each side.
- The alternative for wheelchair users is to travel via Station Road, with ramp access off Balmoral Terrace (on Platform 1 side) and the access road to Platform 2.
